This recipe is beautiful, I made an orange flavour batch and the taste and texture is Devine! I didn’t have lip certified mica so I used a few drops of sea buckthorn oil to give an orange tone and it worked a treat, I used avocado oil as it’s what I had on hand. I sell diy body and lip products at the local markets, still very small right now, I’m going to take these and see if they get snapped up, I only made a few jars as I only make small batches for market day to avoid waste and products sitting too long if they don’t sell. Hi, great video! What if you do not have enough SCI? Can you use a combination of SCI & SCS? Or, SCI, SCS, & SLSa? I've been doing research, but I'm having difficulty finding the right substitutions. In your whip base video, you’ve used optiohen but in this scrub recipe you say germal plus. Did you revamp your original base recipe to use the same preservative? I see that they are different usage rates, so just wondering before I make your whip base.

Tried this a few times and had beautiful results! Last night, though, I made another batch the same as the rest and woke up this morning to a bowl of jello? My soap stayed soft in mold with oil on top. Can I save it and remake soap and how, or do I have to throw out? My lye water was cool as I used frozen goat milk instead of H2o. Then I heated lye mix a bit to match oil temps, stick blended, thought I reached trace but obviously didn’t.

I didn’t have Decyl Glucoside and BMS on hand to add to my Betaine so I used 40 grams of Bio-Terge AS40. It initially made it quite a bit thicker requiring me to add quite a bit more water but it seemed to turn out okay 😊
